This is the message we most want to receive. Every calculator here produces a number someone may act on, so an error is worth more to us than a compliment.

To make it actionable, include the page address, the values you entered, the result you were shown, and the result you expected. If you have a source that supports the expected figure — an IRS publication, a state agency schedule, a textbook formula — include it, and the correction will be much faster.

Confirmed errors are fixed at the source and the change ships with the next deployment. How figures are sourced and checked in the first place is documented on the methodology page.

This is a small operation, not a support desk. Email is read and genuine corrections are prioritised over everything else. We do not promise a response time, because promising one we could not keep would be worse than saying nothing.

What will not get a useful reply: requests for personalised financial, legal, medical or tax advice. We cannot give it, and a general answer to a specific situation is worse than no answer. For anything with money or health at stake, the right next step is a qualified professional who can see your circumstances.

Requests under GDPR or CCPA — access, deletion, or opting out of sale, which we do not do — go to the same address. Say which right you are exercising so it can be handled properly. The privacy policy sets out what is collected and what is not; in short, calculations run in your browser and the figures you type are not transmitted or stored.

Notices about content, advertising or the terms of use reach the same inbox. Please describe the specific page and the specific concern rather than sending a general complaint, so it can actually be acted on.

Requests for calculators that do not exist yet are welcome, particularly where you can describe the decision you are trying to make rather than only the tool you want. The most useful additions to this site have come from someone explaining a problem the existing tools solved badly.

We cannot tell you what to do with your money, your case or your health. That is not modesty — a general answer to a specific situation is frequently worse than no answer, because it sounds authoritative while missing the facts that decide the outcome. A calculator does not know your bracket, your state's rules, your medical history or what happens to you if an estimate turns out optimistic.

We also cannot recover anything you generated on the site. Calculations run in your browser and nothing is stored, so a password from the generator or a result you did not save is genuinely gone rather than retrievable from a server we could look in.

Requests to add promotional links, sponsored posts or guest articles are declined without exception. Nothing on this site is placed in exchange for payment, and the calculators would be worth less if that changed.

Layout problems, text that does not render, a control that will not respond, a page that fails on your phone but not your laptop — these are worth reporting too, and they are harder for us to find than arithmetic errors because they often depend on a browser or screen size we do not use.

Include the page address, your browser and roughly what screen you were on. A screenshot settles most of these in one message. If something worked before and stopped, saying so narrows it down considerably.
